American Traffic Solutions (ATS) - Fleet is a leader in Toll & Violations Management Solutions, along with Title & Registration services. ATS serves the nation’s largest fleets and rental car companies processing nearly 50 million toll transactions and more than 1 million violations every year. ATS delivers Toll and Violation Management solutions to not only fleets but also Toll Authorities and Municipalities. In addition, ATS works with rental car companies and fleet management companies to offer services that include vehicle registration & titling, registration renewal management, plate and title management solutions.

 

Come join our growing team. ATS' Mesa office is hiring a Director, Marketing, an individual who will be responsible for the business unit’s marketing strategy and activity and deliver a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.  The Director, Marketing will drive the long-term marketing strategy, vision, development and implementation of all Fleet Services products and services. This person will need to be a roll up the sleeves, hands-on, get it done, collaborative leader. At the same time, the business development, operations and product teams will hold you accountable for results.

 

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, Operations, Channel Partners and Clients to develop integrated marketing plans and materials that meet needs
  • Develop marketing plans and related budgets, including managing expenses to meet planned objectives
  • Own, manage and communicate market changes both internally and externally
  • Create promotional support for each of the Fleet products and services, existing and new
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry through research, productive relationships with customers and suppliers and internal sources
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop marketing strategies to maximize sales volume and profitability while maintaining company reputation
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, events, videos, social media, websites, point of sale displays and advertising plans
  • Define content needs and develop compelling sales tools and collateral, including sales presentations, solution sheets, talking points, FAQs and whitepapers
  • Drive worldwide adoption of products, and effectively measure results and related success to revenue
  • Coordinate all media contact and ensure the company consistently meets print and digital coverage plans
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
  • Engagement in new business development activities, including customer interaction, acquisition and procurement processes, competitive assessment, and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate key industry events and initiatives
  • Build and retain a strong team through selecting, leading, and developing staff; managing initiatives; monitoring performance including setting expectations, coaching, recognizing achievement, and succession planning

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Marketing experience in Business to Business and Business to Consumer markets
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a business-oriented, leadership role working cross-functionally with various teams to successfully deliver marketing services
  • Ability to initiate and monitor several simultaneous projects
  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader
  • Previous experience in Marketing in a service-oriented business
  • Ability to guide and work with cross-functional, distributed teams and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to synthesize knowledge from multiple external and internal sources and define priorities that both address market problems and meet business needs
  • Experience in web development
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are a must
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and creativity
  • Will need to travel 10% - 20%
